Simon Birch's Hope and Glory! Go before its gone!

Sorry its taken me so long to post up my pics from Simon Birch's Hope and Glory opening.  Its been a busy month!  These are from the opening party that Diesel generously support last month (i think it was April 14th?)

TIGRANES BABY!

Its hard to get good shots of the exhibition,  at least it was this day because it was so packed.

One of the most interesting parts to me....  the weird and mysterious bizarre mannequins.

too shiny to get a good autofocus...   this is bayonet head...   and on the left is another amazing work,  known as 'The Extinguisher of Fire'....

The coolest part of the exhibition is

what I have dubbed 'The Tron Room'...   its really a pretty cool optical illusion.  From far away it looks like its a computer screen showing a wire frame 3D model on a screen.

when i use the flash you can see it a little better.   

i didn't get a chance to watch all the videos unfortunately but lots of AnD community representation there!   gotta catch it before its gone!

Speaking of which,  not sure why they weren't being displayed during the opening party,  but here are some pieces contributed by Prodip Leung. 

OK,  geek-off time.  can anyone identify at least 4 models of space ships in this picture?

there was a brief ceremony..  Simon gave a profanity-ridden welcome to the show..  very entertaining. :-P
