Kamen Rider Dragon Knight Preview on CW network TV

There is a sneak preview of Kamen Rider Dragon Knight starring:Matt Mullinstomorrow at 9:30am on the CW for kids (in the US).THIS IS FOR 8 YEAR OLDS.  (8 to 12) - So - just keep that in mind for a perspective... if you're not the demographic, you might find it a bit ridiculous or absurd. This is the first US version of the long running Japanese franchise Kamen Rider.I directed a few of the episodes that will show next year, this episode was directed by Steve Wang.  The show starts for real January 5th.  I think my first episode is almost 3 months into the run of the series. My company did the US FX (some FX are from Japan and we needed to match the FX style).Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mdhU4zUOlGY&NR=1

Well, for each episode you get aboutt 3 days of preproduction (finding locations, figuring out how to tell the story, and so on). 3 days of production. Yes... only 3 days. We shot FAST. then you edit and supervise another three days down the line.

Cool didnt realize you worked on this at all. A few of my friends were stuntmen on the show. I wanted to be apart of it since I'm a big fan of the Japanese version, but I found out about it too late =( heh.

Nooooo, Kamen Rider just isn't right without the massive amounts of gay in the Japanese version...well, at least the Kamen Rider Kabuto version! Spandex + pretty boys = my idea of fun. Just kidding. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xu-46vJzXog if you'd like a laugh.

Krystal haha yeah...but the hopper pair were cool...yet sad characters, I felt bad for them. Man Kabuto's still one of my favorite seasons heh.

hmm Pong, well the japanese versions are produced by the same company for Sentai (japanese power rangers) and Kamen Rider. Yet the two shows are still pretty different. Power Rangers always seems to be brighter I guess, and Kamen Rider has the darker side. Like the Japanese version of Dragon Knight...every character ends up dying by the end of the season heh. Dunno if the US one will do that too...I doubt it though. Buuut yeah they're pretty similar heh.
