Palin denounces her critics as cowardly

Why is Palin important? The Republicans are grooming her to be the next George W., that's why. Oh, and if Fred Stevens (who received I don't know how many felony convictions recently) does win his senate seat in Alaska (he was leading at last count), the rumor is that he will resign and that it will go to Sarah Palin, step 2 in making her somebody in the Republican party. You weren't in the US during the last 2 months to see how the Republican faithful have rallied around Palin as the future of the Republican party. I'm afraid, unless she really shoots herself in the foot soon, we have not seen the last of her. (And no, being an idiot in national television interviews wasn't enough to enlighten her Republican fans about her lack of, shall we say, intellectual substance. Until the economy tanked, they thought George W. was just peachy-keen, too.) (Yes, I sound cynical--8 years of George W. makes you truly wonder about the American electorate.)
